The role
Bright Heart Education are urgently seeking an experienced sociology or psychology A level tutor with excellent written and spoken English who is available to tutor in Norbiton - experience working with students with SEN is strongly desired.
Successful candidates will be provided with further information and guidelines on the Bright Heart Approach and relevant training for working with SEN students.

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children’s barred list) before commencing any tutoring assignments (we can apply on behalf of a candidate if not currently held). Candidates must also provide 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference. Candidates who have lived / worked overseas in the last 5 years will also need to provide certain overseas checks, including a police certificate.

Please attach your CV and include a cover letter outlining your tuition experience, SEN experience and your motivation for applying to us, as well as your tutoring availability and the subjects and / or types of students you would like to tutor. Please note that applications with a cover letter and completed skills tests will be given strong preference.
Should we progress your application, we will contact you for a brief screening call. Potential next steps include completing an application form, a pre-interview questionnaire / checks (which include online checks), an online interview with a director, contracting and an in-person meeting.
