We’re working with a brilliant primary school in Benwell Grange that’s looking for a dedicated graduate to support pupils with special educational needs. If you’re empathetic, patient, and ready to make a real impact in a child’s school day, read on.
Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra support
Helping children build routines, confidence, and communication skills
Supporting learning both in and outside the classroom
Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to create inclusive learning environments
Recent Sociology grads (or Psychology, Criminology, Education too!)
Anyone keen to explore a future in teaching, therapy, youth work, or educational psychology
People who love working with children and want to see them succeed, especially those who need that little bit more
Understanding of social development, behaviour, or inclusion
A calm, caring approach and a willingness to learn
Some experience working with children (school, youth clubs, tutoring etc.) is a plus
Weekly pay (PAYE only—no dodgy deductions)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
