You will help play a key role in achieving positive outcomes for children and their families in Lambeth.
About the role
You will provide high quality statutory social work services to children, young people and their families/carers to ensure an environment which safeguards and promotes their welfare and enables children wherever possible to remain within their family and community.
Your team will be on duty every five weeks carrying out s47 enquiries and Child and Family Assessments within statutory timescales. You will be responsible for progressing cases up to Child in Need meetings and Initial Child Protection Conferences and you may be required to undertake some court work.
About you
As an Experienced Social Worker, you will work in an environment where your practice will flourish to contribute to positive outcomes for our children and young people. You will work within one of five small friendly teams, have a manageable caseload, and be provided with strong learning resources. You will also receive extra personal support from an Advanced Practitioner, bespoke learning and development and excellent post-qualifying opportunities through the Lambeth Social Care Academy.
