Job Title: Social Worker – East Community Team

Location: Wakefield

Rate: £35 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join the East Community Team in Wakefield.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality adult social care for older people and adults by assessing and meeting their care needs across the Wakefield District.
  • Working on the AMCP/BIA rota, maintaining competency, and working outside normal hours as required.
  • Engaging with the public, handling difficult situations, and traveling between work sites within the Wakefield District and occasionally throughout the Yorkshire and Humber Region for meetings and networking.

Qualifications and Experience:
