Location: Swindon

Rate: Up to £35.00

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Swindon Borough Council for a qualified adult social worker to join the Home First and Urgent Response Team. The team is busy and fast-paced, requiring a dynamic and experienced worker.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of adults requiring urgent care and support.
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans.
  • Coordinate with various services to ensure timely support.
  • Work closely with individuals, families, and professionals to promote independence and well-being.
  • Respond to urgent situations, provide crisis intervention, and document actions regularly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Completed an ASYE year or equivalent experience in a statutory social work setting.
  • Experience in Adult Social Care, multi-agency, and court environments.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, models, and theories.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a car (exceptions may apply).
