As a Children's Safeguarding Social Worker, you will play a critical role in protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families in crisis. You will collaborate with various professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in your care.
Our friendly, supportive Safeguarding teams work creatively and solution-focused to keep children, young people, and families together when it is safe to do so. The teams are highly supportive and adopt a relational practice approach.
Our Safeguarding teams cover a large, diverse county with multiple offices across Northamptonshire, including Northampton, Daventry, Corby, Kettering, and Wellingborough.
To deliver social work services appropriate for a professionally qualified post, ensuring the welfare and protection of children and young people in accordance with legal and statutory obligations of Northamptonshire Children's Trust.
