Overview

Social Worker – Specialist Medium & Low Secure Services at Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, with a new permanent position for a Social Worker within the Specialist Medium & Low Secure Services to work Full Time for Elysium Healthcare, based in Thornford Park, Thatcham.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £35,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Conducting referrals to LADO and Local Authority in line with safeguarding and assessments.
• Educating Hospital staff about relevant safeguarding matters.
• Completing a full annual social care reassessment within the CPA format.
• Facilitating access to welfare rights, housing, advocacy services and associated support services.
• As a Social Worker, you can be the reason why lives change for the better, helping some of the most vulnerable people gain a brighter future.
• With previous experience from the NHS or private care, you can join the multi-disciplinary team at Thornford Park Hospital in Thatcham which had a strong emphasis on teamwork, and where you will provide care for men and women with complex mental health needs.
• As a Social Worker you will manage a complex caseload and be responsible for social care assessments, risk assessments, facilitate group activities, and will contribute to ICR meetings, supporting service users to make viable plans for their future.
• You report to the Safeguarding Lead and will manage internal investigations and liaise with home authorities for service users during their admission and discharging process, while enjoying access to a range of training opportunities that can see your career grow and you achieve your career aspirations.
