Job Description:

An exciting job role has recently become available at the Sefton Council. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities:

• Safeguarding Enquiries: Lead and coordinate multi-agency safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014.
• Develop and Review Plans: Create and review safeguarding adult protection plans, ensuring they are person-centred and outcome-focused.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other agencies, professionals, and the individuals involved to ensure a coordinated response.
• Case Management: Manage your own caseload effectively and support unqualified social care support officers.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
