Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team in Ealing for a 3-month locum assignment. The role is full-time and pays £34 per hour, with potential extension based on performance and service needs.

You will provide supervision to non-qualified staff, manage the Safeguarding Adults duty inbox, and lead complex safeguarding enquiries, ensuring timely, person-centred decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, guidance, and support to non-qualified staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Lead and manage the Safeguarding Adults duty inbox, ensuring timely and effective responses to concerns.
• Review and authorise Section 42(1) safeguarding concerns, demonstrating your expert decision-making abilities.
• Undertake complex Section 42(2) safeguarding enquiries, delivering thorough and compassionate investigations.
• Act as Safeguarding Adults Manager SAM for allocated cases, overseeing the entire safeguarding process with confidence and clarity.
• Conduct assessments and interventions in accordance with statutory duties and team timescales, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Support practice development and promote effective multi-agency collaboration, enhancing overall service delivery.
• Contribute to positive outcomes for adults with mental health needs through person-centred and strength-based practice.
