Job Title: Social Worker – Safeguarding Front Door Team
Location: Southwark
Pay Rate: £33.76 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Front Door Team of our client. In this role, you will serve as the first point of professional contact for adults at risk of abuse or neglect. You will play a critical role in screening, triaging, and assessing the risk of safeguarding concerns, ensuring alignment with the Care Act 2014 and Southwark’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct prompt and thorough initial assessments of safeguarding referrals to determine the level of risk and required interventions.
  2. Lead and participate in safeguarding investigations, ensuring all actions comply with relevant legislation and policies.
  3. Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations to ensure the safety of individuals at risk.
  4. Manage a caseload of safeguarding cases, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all assessments, plans, and interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you must be registered with Social Work England, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence. You should also possess a degree-level qualification or equivalent in Social Work, along with relevant post-qualified experience.
