Job summary

Pro Social Partners Ltd, partnering with Oxfordshire County Council, is recruiting permanent Social Workers for Safeguarding, Assessment, and Children with Disabilities in Oxford. You will manage a caseload, undertake enquiries, prepare reports, and work with partners to reduce risk, keeping children's voices central.

Salary £41,771–£45,091 plus £1,750 retention payment, permanent contract, with strong supervision and CPD.

Qualifications

• A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
• Post-qualifying experience within Children's Social Care.
• Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
• Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessments and direct work with children and families.
• Prepare reports and present at child protection conferences and core group meetings.
• Work closely with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children.
• Keep children's voices at the centre of all assessment and planning.
