Job Title: Social Worker – Adult Locality Project Team

Location: Rotherham

Rate: £32.99

An exciting job role has recently become available at the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Locality Project Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting timely assessments and reviews to ensure support is provided without delay.
  • Managing assigned cases, intervening with legal and procedural authority to protect vulnerable individuals.
  • Using a strengths-based and person-centered approach to empower individuals for independent living and positive risk-taking, in line with the Care Act principles.
  • Undertaking Care Act assessments, support planning, Mental Capacity Assessments, and making best interest decisions.
  • Working within safeguarding policies, carrying out Section 42 enquiries to ensure safety and well-being.

Qualifications and Experience:

Must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving licence, and possess a degree-level or equivalent qualification in Social Work with post-qualified experience.
