An exciting job role has recently become available at Rotherham Council. They are looking for a new member for their Front Door Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Social Worker in the Adults Front Door Team, you will be the first point of contact, conducting initial assessments to determine the needs and eligibility of adults seeking support. You will offer guidance on available services and support options, signposting individuals to appropriate resources. Your role will involve assessing and managing risks to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals. You will work closely with other professionals and agencies, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to coordinate support and services. Managing a varied caseload, you will ensure timely and effective interventions. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, plans, and interventions. In emergencies and critical incidents, you will provide immediate support and decision-making.

Qualifications and Experiences:
You must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence. Post-qualified experience and a degree-level or equivalent qualification in Social Work are also required.
