Leicestershire County Council invites applicants to join a return to social work program designed to restore qualified professionals. You will start as a social work assistant on a fixed-term contract, with a structured plan and supervision to refresh your practice.

Upon successful restoration and registration with Social Work England, a permanent Level 2 Social Worker role (£39,904 - £47,392) will be offered, along with ongoing training, group supervision and professional development

Qualificações

• A Social work qualification (degree or equivalent) and have previously been registered with Social Work England with a break of two years or more.
• Experience of social work practice working with children and families.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, child-care legislation and social work practice; knowledge of social work methods and models.
• Full, valid UK driving licence (or able to convert current licence) and access to a vehicle.
• Clear communication skills with others; ability to analyse information and reach a decision.
• Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks; work flexibly to changing requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Restore to social work practice via a fixed-term role while gaining required experience for restoration.
• Support restoration and registration fees with Social Work England.
• Progress to a permanent Level 2 Social Worker role (£39,904 - £47,392).
• Join an established social work team and access training, conferences and supervision.
• Receive monthly reflective supervision and opportunities for mentoring and development.
