Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Social Worker – Quality Assurance (Non-Caseholding) in Lewisham for a 3-month locum contract. This role focuses on QA without caseholding, covering South East London and occasional travel, with a 35-hour week.

You will conduct QA reviews, evaluate provider performance, and drive improvements in care settings for children’s services. The role requires an experienced, registered Social Worker with safeguarding expertise and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Social Worker with safeguarding and QA experience.
• Background in fostering, kinship, SGO, or placement services.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to challenge and influence improvement.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive quality assurance reviews across all Care Resources services to ensure compliance with statutory duties and regulatory expectations.
• Evaluate provider performance and care environments, making insightful recommendations for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with care providers to drive enhancement through action planning and follow-up visits.
• Nurture placement stability and safeguard children’s welfare through comprehensive oversight.
• Lead a programme of Quality Assurance visits, mentoring other placement officers in conducting effective evaluations.
• Develop detailed reports to present outcomes and themes from quality assurance visits.
