Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Social Worker for a 3-month Quality Assurance role in Lewisham. This locum position covers a full-time 35-hour week with no caseholding, paying £37.52 per hour.

The post involves working across South East London and occasional travel to ensure high standards of care for children in accommodation. You will conduct QA reviews, evaluate provider performance, and drive improvement through action planning, while safeguarding children's welfare and maintaining

• Qualified and registered Social Worker with substantial safeguarding, QA, and assessments experience.
• Background in fostering, kinship, SGO, or placement services.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Conduct comprehensive quality assurance reviews across Care Resources services to ensure compliance with statutory duties and regulatory expectations.
• Evaluate provider performance and care environments, making recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with care providers to drive enhancement through action planning and follow-up visits.
• Nurture placement stability and safeguard children's welfare through comprehensive oversight.
• Lead a programme of Quality Assurance visits and mentor placement officers in evaluations.
• Develop detailed reports to present outcomes and themes from QA visits.
