Job summary

The Social Worker (Progressed) role sits in the Eaglebridge Adult Social Care Team within Cheshire East Council. You will support adults with care and support needs to achieve good outcomes, carrying out complex assessments, managing risk and coordinating care to improve quality of life.

You will work with health, voluntary and partner agencies, mentor less experienced colleagues and students, and contribute to service development, ensuring person-centred practice and safeguarding within

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with statutory adult social care experience.
• Experience in a statutory adult social care setting.

Job description

The Social Worker (Progressed) post sits in the Eaglebridge Adult Social Care Team at Cheshire East Council. The holder supports adults with care and support needs to reach good outcomes, carrying out complex assessments, managing risk, coordinating care and leading safeguarding work within statutory frameworks. It also involves working alongside health, voluntary and partner agencies, mentoring less experienced colleagues and students, and contributing to service development. Applicants need to be a qualified social worker with statutory adult social care experience and a sound grasp of the Mental Capacity Act.
