Social Worker Practice Manager

Our First Response service is the dedicated ‘Front Door’ to Children’s Services. It is a multi-agency team that plays a key role in supporting professionals and ensuring that children and families receive the right help, at the right time, from the right professional.

As a Practice Manager, you will manage a multi-agency team comprising social workers and first response advisors, alongside partners including police, education, health, and domestic abuse advisors.

The team is responsible for offering initial advice and screening requests for help and support made into the service, across all levels of need.

You will have management experience within a Front Door environment and will lead the team in helping children, families, and professionals understand the support available, as well as responding to safeguarding referrals, ensuring that practice standards are met and children and families are appropriately supported.
