Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Agency Social Worker (Level 2) to support the Physical Disability and Older People’s Team in Norwich for a 12-week period. You will manage a varied community caseload, undertake safeguarding enquiries and Mental Capacity Act assessments, and contribute to outcome-focused planning.

Applicants must be registered with Social Work England and comfortable working with adults with physical disabilities and older people.

Qualifications

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience with adults with physical disabilities and older people.
• Familiarity with Norfolk County Council systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied community caseload including safeguarding enquiries and Mental Capacity Act assessments.
• Contribute to timely, proportionate assessments and outcome‑focused planning.
• Engage in conversations guided by Community Led Support principles to foster independence.
• Collaborate with health and social care partners to align with Care Act responsibilities.
• Support early intervention through community‑based solutions.
• Maintain strong organisational skills and sound professional judgement in a multidisciplinary environment.
