Salary: Full time equivalent salary Band 9 (£34,314 - £37,035 per annum) / Band 10 (£37,938 - £40,476 per annum) / Band 11 (£41,511 - £44,711 per annum). Salary Band: £30,001 to £40,000. Post Type: Fixed Term. Hours Per Week: Full time.

Job Overview

1-year fixed term post to cover maternity leave. Applicants must be 1-year post ASYE.

You will provide ongoing Social Work assessment, support planning and interventions for Adults aged 18+ with a range of complex needs in the Darlington area. We are based at The Town Hall in Darlington.

The team works proactively with service users, their families, carers and professionals to maximise independence through a comprehensive strengths-based approach to assessment and support planning. The dynamic nature of the team is underpinned by a strong commitment to the principles of The Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation.

The successful applicant will be required to contribute to the operational delivery of an effective Adult Social Care Service and be responsible for a range of assessments including Care and Support Needs, Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding, and Support Planning to promote the wellbeing of adults in line with the Care Act 2014.
