Exciting Opportunity: Band 6 Adult Mental Health Social Worker - Primary Care Mental Health Team We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Adult Mental Health Social Worker (Band 6 equivalent) Location: SE London Duration: 3 months (with likely extension) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM Start Date: ASAP Rate of Pay: £21.21 PAYE or £28.

What You'll Be Doing: Join the integrated Primary Care Mental Health Team as an Adult Mental Health Social Worker. Working alongside NHS and voluntary sector colleagues, your key responsibilities will include:

Screening and triaging new referrals while on duty Completing strengths-based assessments, support planning, and stabilisation work Leading on adult safeguarding cases and conducting Care Act 2014 assessments Managing a caseload in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team Participating in regular MDT meetings and contributing to risk management planning Supporting service users with a wide range of mental health needs through brief intervention models

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

SWE Registration and a degree in Social Work Substantial experience in adult mental health community casework Strong assessment, engagement, and risk management skills Sound knowledge of CA 2014, MHA 1983, and MCA 2005 Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within an integrated MDT environment Commitment to safeguarding and promoting recovery-focused care

Working Hours & Contract Duration: This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM. Based in SE London, offering excellent transport links and free parking. Initial 3-month contract with strong possibility of extension.
