Our safeguarding team manages all professional safeguarding across adult social care, focusing on the individual’s outcomes and applying professional curiosity to evaluate information objectively.

You will have the opportunity to:

You will need:

  • CQSW/CSS/Diploma/Degree in Social Work or equivalent (Essential)
  • Social Work England Registration (Essential)
  • Enhanced DBS check, including Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists (Essential)
  • Knowledge of social work policies and recent service developments
  • Effective communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Resilience and positive attitude towards change
  • Understanding of multi-disciplinary working and safeguarding legislation

You will be:

  • Allocated to safeguarding concerns, working towards timely resolution and documentation
  • Developing effective relationships with health and voluntary sector professionals
  • Communicating effectively with adults at risk and their families, following Making Safeguarding Personal principles
  • Well-versed in enquiries, the Care Act, and safeguarding policies

This is a hybrid role, combining office work across various locations with the option to work from home where appropriate.
