The team: Join our dynamic Mental Health inpatient team, where social workers and adult social care practitioners collaborate under the guidance of an advanced practitioner. We provide essential support across all nine NHS Psychiatric hospitals in Somerset, ensuring individuals receive the care they need before discharge. Our community Mental Health Social Care Teams are spread throughout the county, with exciting vacancies available in both the East and West regions. Each team is composed of dedicated social workers, adult social care practitioners, and an advanced practitioner, working together to make a difference in their localities. Additionally, our mental health social care service boasts a dedicated Practice Development Advanced Practitioner, who is committed to fostering learning, providing training and updating Adult Social Care practices, and sharing the latest developments in the field. Working within the Mental Health Social Care Service is a fast‑paced environment, but you are guaranteed fun and laughter along the way due to the positive and fun nature of the team.
Anything else I should know? This is a Grade 10 post with a current salary starting at £37,280 rising to £41,771 per annum. Appointments are normally made at the bottom of the salary scale.
