Qualifications

Salary: £42,392 - £45,860 per year pro rata

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 21 hours per week

The team operates mainly in the Western Argyll coastal and the associated islands Of Islay, Jura and Gigha, an area of significant natural beauty with a combination of rural and semi-rural communities.

The role is based in a CMHT in the local community hospital in Lochgilphead and will involve travel throughout Argyll and Bute. The role will involve undertaking needs assessments to both in-patient and community service users who experience mental health difficulties. The role involves being part of a small team of social work colleagues and being supported and managed by the team leader.

Essential: Qualification Dipsw, BA in Social Work, SSSC Registered and Driving licence.

Desirable: MHO award, previous experience of working in the field of mental health.
