Sirona Medical Social Work department is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Social Worker to join the MASH team on an agency basis.

Position Overview

We are currently looking for a qualified and motivated Social Worker to join our agency at Sirona Medical Social Work department. The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is seeking additional cover for a social work post while active recruitment is ongoing. We are therefore seeking an experienced qualified social worker (3 years qualified) to work in the MASH. This is a multi-agency front door team where a social worker responds to all initial contacts regarding children and young people. The social worker will collaborate with other professionals in the MASH, collect relevant information, and analyze needs to determine outcomes for those contacts. You will be supported by and report to the two MASH team managers. The MASH is well resourced with screening referral information workers who support initial calls, and it benefits from a well-established, integrated partnership team.

Qualifications

• BA Honors or Master’s Degree in Social Work
• Social Work England Registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Full UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle (if applicable)
• At least three years of post-qualifying experience employed directly within a Local Authority children's service in England
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach with a dedication to providing high-quality care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
