Job Title: Social Worker – Looked After Children

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Rate: £38 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join a Looked After Children Team based in Southend-on-Sea.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of children and young people, ensuring adherence to professional standards and relevant legislation.
• Assess and address the needs of children and their families, providing efficient and cost-effective services.
• Investigate and analyze case information, maintain clear records, and take a holistic view of individual needs.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Council policies, prepare reports, and inform the Team Manager of workload issues.
• Deliver high-quality, comprehensive support to children and young people.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Social Work England registration.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Degree-level qualification in Social Work.
• Post-qualification experience.
