Job Title:Social Worker – Learning Disabilities Team
Location:London Borough of Newham
Rate:£32-£35 per hour

An exciting job role has recently become available at the London Borough of Newham. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities Team.

As part of our ILDT, you’ll play a crucial role in developing effective care and support plans to ensure the welfare and promote the independence of Adults with a range of Learning Disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Undertake Care Act 2014 Assessments: Focus on the person’s well-being, adopting a person-centered, strengths-based approach.
  • Promote Independence: Empower individuals by promoting choice, control, and independence through reablement approaches.
  • Collaborate with Professionals: Work in partnership with other professionals, source provisions, and safeguard vulnerable adults.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
