Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Adults Community Learning Disability and Autism Team based in Lancashire.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:

• Provide a professional social work service to adults, their families, and carers in line with the Care Act.
• Engage with individuals, families, groups, and communities to assess and intervene, employing a range of interventions to promote choice, control, and independence.
• Assist individuals, carers, and families to develop support plans using an asset-based approach, considering family, friends, and community options where appropriate.
• Encourage involvement and ownership of the support plan, taking a leadership role when appropriate, and explain the use of Direct Payments for informed decision-making.
• Promote wellbeing and independence to enable individuals and carers to retain or regain skills and confidence, preventing or delaying deterioration.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
