Salary: £37,626 - £44,257
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker with a focus on Trauma-Informed Practice, Early Intervention, and Groupwork to join the Justice Pathways Service (JPS). JPS provides interventions such as Diversion from Prosecution, Structured Deferred Sentences, and Community Payback Orders. The team aims to serve men affected by complex trauma and/or substance use, addressing their risks and needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a good understanding of National Outcomes and Standards and public protection, and be willing to work in a dynamic environment. We value an inclusive culture that respects diversity and lived experience.
Applicants must have a degree in Social Work and be registered, or eligible to register, with the SSSC.

This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If the candidate has spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
