Social Worker – Integrated Multi-disciplinary – Hull, Kingston upon Hull

This is a job opportunity at Hull City Council for a Social Worker to join their Integrated Multi-disciplinary team, offering a pay rate of £35 per hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality social work practice.
  • Provide expert social work in complex situations, ensuring work complies with legislative and departmental requirements.
  • Support staff development and promote co-production principles.
  • Develop integrated and collaborative working methods to achieve positive outcomes, including using Connect to Support for accessing information and community resources.
  • Manage high-risk cases, provide expert opinions, and support supervision and performance monitoring.
  • Lead in strengths-based, solution-focused approaches, active listening, and goal setting, maintaining high professional standards.
  • Explain and demonstrate good practice in response to legislation such as the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act 1998, Care Act 2014, and Mental Health Act 1983.
  • Contribute to report writing, including court reports for the Court of Protection.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving license
  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work
