Renfrewshire Council is seeking a Social Worker for the initial response team in Paisley. The role involves progressing initial assessments, child protection planning and short term casework, with responsibilities for family interventions and maintaining electronic case records.

The suitable candidate will have a BA (Hons) in Social Work, be SSSC registered or eligible to register within 6 months, and demonstrate strong interpersonal, IT, assessment and writing skills, with the ability to work

• BA (Hons) in Social Work or equivalent.
• SSSC registration within 6 months of starting the role.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, IT, assessment and writing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Progress initial, child’s planning and child protection assessments.
• Carry out short term case management and family interventions.
• Record and monitor work using an electronic case recording system.
