An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Social Worker within our Hospital Assessment Team.
Our Hospital Assessment Team is a well-established and experienced team located within an integrated building that provides a full range of adult social work and primary health services.
We are seeking a Social Worker to assist in delivering statutory duties and contributing to complex care management. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, experienced in promoting independence and personalisation, confident in managing risk, and creative in linking older people to the local community.
Applicants should hold a professional social work qualification and have experience in statutory work within older people's social work services. Experience in the field of Older People is desirable.
You must hold a driving licence.

This role requires PVG/Disclosure checks as per East Dunbartonshire Council policies. Successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment confirmation. The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary payment, or in some cases, in installments post-employment, with approval from HR & OD. If employment ends before deduction, the full amount will be deducted from the final salary.
