  • Deliver consistent supervision, support, and reviews, including attendance and presentations at the Fostering/Supported Lodgings Panel.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organisational and communication skills to meet deadlines and produce thorough written reports.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures rigorously, escalate concerns appropriately, and contribute to the development of Foster Carers and Supported Lodgings Hosts through training sessions.
  • Promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, addressing their physical, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively within multi-professional teams to support children in thriving within kinship or mainstream foster families.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, young people, their carers, and relevant professionals to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Undertake direct work with children and carers on issues such as family conflict, breakdown, behaviour concerns, school attendance, emotional health, and risk of exploitation.
  • Support children and young people with a strengths-based, therapeutic approach.
  • Escort, supervise, or transport children when necessary, as part of planned interventions.
  • Discuss expenditure proposals with the budget holder and seek approvals where required.
Requirements:

  • Ability to travel for work.
  • Twice weekly payroll.
  • Free DBS and compliance service.
  • Access to exclusive roles not available from other agencies.
  • Free access to Liquid’s social work training and CPD portal.
