Job Title: Social Worker - Family Support & Intervention (MASH)Location: Conwy
Pay Rate Limited/Umbrella: 37.54 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary (12 weeks, with potential for extension)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of it's client at Conwy for an experienced Social Worker to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) within the Children, Families and Safeguarding Service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Social Worker with Child Protection (CP) and Section 47 (S47) experience to contribute to a highly dynamic and responsive front-line service during a period of increased demand.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Provide high-quality duty social work services at the MASH front door referral point.

  • Support the Team Manager with the triage and assessment of referrals.

  • Make informed decisions at the entry point to services, including signposting and short-term interventions.

  • Ensure all work complies with the Social Services and Wellbeing Act (2014) and All Wales Safeguarding Procedures.

  • Maintain strong multi-agency relationships to promote effective safeguarding outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience.

  • Registered with Social Care Wales.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Child Protection and S47 investigations.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills.

  • Comfortable using relevant technology and case management systems.

  • Must live locally or within a commutable distance of Colwyn Bay, as this is an office-based role.
