Pay Rate Limited/Umbrella: £37.54 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary (12 weeks, with potential for extension)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of it's client at Conwy for an experienced Social Worker to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) within the Children, Families and Safeguarding Service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Social Worker with Child Protection (CP) and Section 47 (S47) experience to contribute to a highly dynamic and responsive front-line service during a period of increased demand.

What will your responsibilities be?

Provide high-quality duty social work services at the MASH front door referral point.

Support the Team Manager with the triage and assessment of referrals.

Make informed decisions at the entry point to services, including signposting and short-term interventions.

Ensure all work complies with the Social Services and Wellbeing Act (2014) and All Wales Safeguarding Procedures.

Maintain strong multi-agency relationships to promote effective safeguarding outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience.

Registered with Social Care Wales.

Strong knowledge and experience in Child Protection and S47 investigations.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills.

Comfortable using relevant technology and case management systems.

Must live locally or within a commutable distance of Colwyn Bay, as this is an office-based role.
