Job Title: Social Worker within Family & Safeguarding Team
Location: Weston-super-Mare, UK
Salary: £39.42 per hour
Contract: Ongoing | Full-time

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and plans by working collaboratively with adult-focused practitioners
• Support children and families facing challenges such as complex neglect, sexual and physical harm, and child exploitation
• Engage with parents and the wider family network using Family Group Conferencing
• Empower families to identify strengths and implement positive changes
• Collaborate with other professionals to create comprehensive care strategies

Requirements

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England
• Experience in children’s services within a Local Authority team
• Experience in family courts is a plus
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
