Overview

Social Worker - Family Safeguarding Team in Taunton (UK), earning £39.43 hourly on a locum basis for 3 months. Responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Child Looked After cases
• Competently handle Court Work and conduct parenting assessments in pre-proceedings
• Complete comprehensive assessments, evaluating needs, risks, strengths, and protective factors to develop meaningful plans for children's protection and support
• Respond to referrals from various sources and assess the needs of children and families according to statutory frameworks
• Engage and collaborate with partner agencies and other Children\'s Services teams
• Participate in a duty rota to manage crisis situations and support family stability
• Empower and enable individuals and families to achieve positive and sustainable change
• Promote the values of relationship-based social work throughout your practice, drawing upon creative thinking to build rapport with children and families
