Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload and conduct direct work with children, ensuring their voices and lived experiences are central to planning.

Lead and chair multi-agency meetings, working in partnership with professionals to deliver integrated, effective support.

Provide timely, high-quality assessments, plans, and interventions in line with statutory frameworks and local policies.

Deliver creative and impactful interventions that reduce the need for children to enter care and promote long-term stability.

Support children and families from the assessment stage onwards, building strong, supportive relationships to promote positive change.

Prepare clear, evidence-based reports and maintain accurate case records in line with best practice.

Requirements:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.

Registration with Social Work England.

Experience working in children and families’ services, ideally within assessment or family support teams.

Strong assessment, communication, and multi-agency working skills.
