Location: Redbridge, UK Rate: £37.00 per hour Contract: Ongoing locum opportunity Hours: Full-time or part-time available

Role Overview:

An excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join the Family Help service in Redbridge. This locum role offers the chance to work with dynamic teams, support diverse families, and make a tangible impact in a vibrant and well-connected London borough.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families.

Develop, implement, and review effective care and support plans in collaboration with children, families, and professionals.

Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at improving outcomes for children and their carers.

Signpost and connect families to appropriate community resources and support services.

Work in partnership with local agencies, including schools and health services, to ensure cohesive safeguarding practices and positive results.

Requirements:

A recognised professional qualification in social work, with post-qualification diploma preferred.

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC/Social Work England).

A minimum of two years' post-qualification experience working with children, families, and carers.

Strong communication and multi-agency collaboration skills.
