Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates Ltd are recruiting an Experienced Children's Social Worker for an Maternity Cover in the West Berkshire area. You will join the Assessment and Family Help Team and support safeguarding work, completing assessments and developing family plans.

Essentials include a Social Work qualification and minimum three years post-qualifying experience, with a valid UK driving licence. Hybrid working, parking and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Social workers must hold a Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
• Minimum of three years' post-qualifying experience.
• Experience in Referral and Assessments, Child Protection, and Children in Need is key.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Social Worker Family help and Assessment

We are looking for an Experienced Children's Social Worker to join the Assessment and Family Help Team on a

Maternity Cover basis in the West Berkshire area.

Do not apply if you do not have a Social Work qualification with a minimum 3 years permanent experience with an English local authority.

About the Team

Assesses children's needs, visits families, identifies risks and safeguarding concerns, and provides support to improve family circumstances. They work with parents and other professionals to ensure children are safe and well cared for. They also write assessments, develop support plans and decide whether further intervention is needed.

About you

Essential to have previous experience working in Referral and Assessments, Child Protection, Children in Need is key to this role, your application will be highly regarded. Social Workers must hold a Social Work qualification

(Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and have

a minimum of three years' post-qualifying experience.

A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are also required.
