Post Title: Social Worker (Family Team)

Location: Alness

Hours: 35 Hours Per Week

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £42,879 - £46,410 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Provide a Social Work Service to children, families, and other carers. This includes services to looked after children and those on the Child Protection Register. Services are provided as part of a local Family Team, in the context of the Highland Practice Model. The Family Team is multi-disciplinary and offers universal and additional health, social care, and child protection services.

Contribute to risk management & public protection.

Requirements
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council on the ‘Social Worker’ part of the Register.
  • Hold a qualification recognized by the SSSC as equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW).
  • Willingness and ability to travel efficiently between various work locations within Highland to meet operational requirements.
