Job summary

Bedford Borough Council is seeking an experienced social worker for Children's Services. You will build trusted relationships with children, young people and families, and work within a supportive team focused on healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

To join us, you will have:

• adegree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
• successfully completed your ASYE, or the Children's Workforce Development Council's Newly Qualified Social Worker programme,and have at least 1 year's post qualifying experience (we cannot accept applications for ASYE at the current time)
• registration with Social Work England
• a UK Driving licence & suitably insured vehicle

FTE Salary: £39,152 - £45,091 pro rata pa

plus MRS £6,000 (subject to annual review), Welcome payment £8,000 and retention payments £2,000 pro rata
