Job Title: Social Worker (Children)

Location: Barnsley

Working Hours: Hybrid

Rate: £40 per hour

Liquid Personnel are seeking an experienced Social Worker to work within a busy Duty & Assessment Team, based in Barnsley.

Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Social Worker within the Duty and Assessment Team, you will undertake Child & Family Assessments, conduct Section 47 enquiries, and participate in Child Protection and Child in Need meetings. Experience in initial court and Public Law Outline (PLO) work is essential. Your role involves assessing children and families' needs, managing risks, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Social Work England registration.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • Social Work Qualification, degree, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
