Job summary

Athona Ltd is recruiting a Social Worker for an inpatient rehabilitation service in Devon. This full-time locum position lasts for 1 month with a 0900–1700 Monday to Friday schedule and pays £30.92 per hour PAYE, inside IR35.

You will work lone and with MDT colleagues, writing CPA/MH reports on schedule and supporting safeguarding and related duties for families and patients.

Qualifications

• Must have Social Work degree.
• Experience in a similar setting.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide statutory reports (CPA, MH) within specified timelines.
• Work with families to build therapeutic and professional relationships.
• Collaborate with MDT members and lone-work environment.
• Referrals to LADO and Local Authority in safeguarding and assessments.
• Educate hospital staff on safeguarding matters.
• Complete annual social care reassessment within CPA format.
• Facilitate access to welfare rights, housing and advocacy services.
• Attend 1:1 supervision.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to work with a private client in Devon for their rehabilitation inpatient service. This full-time locum position is based in Devon, with proposed working hours of Monday to Friday 0900 til 1700.

The role is set to begin ASAP and will last for 1 Months initially offering an hourly rate of £30.92 Per Hour Please note that this position is inside IR35

As a Social Worker you will be:

• Lone working
• Work closely with other MDT members
• Write and complete statutory reports (CPA, MH) within specified timelines
• Work with families, creating a therapeutic and professional relationship beneficial to the patient
• Referring to LADO and Local Authority in line with safeguarding and assessments
• Educating hospital staff about relevant safeguarding matters
• Completing a full annual social care reassessment within the CPA format
• Facilitating access to welfare rights, housing, advocacy services and associated support services
• Participating in 1:1 supervision

To be successful in this role, you will need:
