What you will do:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with children in care and care-experienced young people, working alongside personal advisors who are co-located.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and prepare Care and Pathway Plans tailored to each young person’s needs.
  • Engage in occasional court work as needed, contributing to achieving permanence for the children and young people.
  • Undertake statutory children in care reviews and visits, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, collaborating with key partners to deliver the best outcomes for young people.
  • Manage adolescent contextual risk, applying your understanding of safeguarding to promote the welfare and protection of young individuals.
  • Supervise, support, and mentor young people transitioning into independent living, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive.
