Children Social Care - Contextual Safeguarding / Risk Outside the Home Service
PO2/3: £43,542 pa rising in annual increments to £49,638 pa incl. LW
Plus £1,000 Market Supplement, £1,500 Retention Allowance and £1000 Welcome Payment

You will use your passion, expertise and excellent practice to establish and deliver high quality work to the children, young people and young adults within Lambeth.
The role will be in the Support Team and will provide at the earliest possible opportunity an assessment of need, direct intervention and support to children and young people who are referred through Children’s Social Care Integrated Referral Hub with high concerns and risks of a Contextual nature and being considered at risk of harm outside the home.
We are seeking experienced practitioners who are committed to achieving better life chances for children, young people and young adults who are at risk of extra familial harm, ideally with experience in systemic and trauma informed approaches.
The Social Workers within the Support Team are core roles within our Contextual Safeguarding/ Risk outside the home Service and the ideal candidates will have real passion, appropriate experience and strong knowledge in safeguarding individuals and be able to walk alongside children and young people who are at risk of or experiencing exploitation or serious violence and building trusted relationships to deliver the work to keep them safe.
The postholder will need the confidence and credibility to work with multiple stakeholders, build strong partnerships to meet the needs and expectations of a diverse borough.
