A leading agency is seeking a Community Mental Health Team Social Worker in Ceredigion for a hybrid role. A Locum Social Worker is required to join Ceredigion's Community Mental Health team for an initial 3-6 month contract. This is predominantly a hybrid role whereby you can work from home and their on-site offices. You will need to work at least 1 day on-site per week based out of Aberystwyth. Ideally, you will be able to commit to a full-time contract of 37 hours per week. Applications from those wishing to work fewer hours are welcome, but a minimum of 3 days on-site is required.
If you are a creative, enthusiastic social worker with a sound value base, and experience working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health issues and substance misuse, Hoop Social Work would love to hear from you. You will be required to manage a caseload of around 20 to 25 service users and/or carers. You will be expected to travel to Ceredigion and other counties as necessary to undertake assessments, reviews, and care plans. You need to be competent in your knowledge and use of SSWBA and MCA. A working knowledge of the Court of Protection process is also desirable. The role involves working with adults with mental health issues and within dementia services.
