Job Title: Children’s Social Worker – Children with Disabilities Service
Location: Northamptonshire
Rate: £34 per hour

A Children’s Social Worker is required to join Northamptonshire’s Children with Disabilities Service. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities:

  • Screening and assessing the needs of Disabled Children and Young People
  • Children and Families Assessments, Single Assessments and completing Reports on Disabled Children
  • Carrying out Child Protection investigations with Police
  • Completing Care Plans, some jointly with health colleagues and other multi-agency professionals
  • Chairing Child in Need (CIN) /Core Group meetings
  • Completing CIN/CP plans and Court Statements
  • Managing a caseload under strict time-scales

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Hold a Social Work England registration
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
  • Twice weekly payroll and an internal ‘hours’ team
