Salary: £37,035 - £37,938 per annum
Hours: part-time (18.5 hours per week)

Cumberland Council is looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our Children and Families Service. In this vital role, you’ll work directly with children, young people, and their families to assess needs, develop outcome-focused plans, and ensure the right support is in place. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-agency team, using your professional expertise to improve lives and promote the voice of the child in all aspects of care planning.
We’re looking for someone with a Social Work degree (or equivalent), Social Work England registration, and experience working with children and families. You’ll need strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and a commitment to anti-oppressive practice. This role is available on a permanent basis.
