Job Title: Social Worker - Children with Disabilities Team Location: Peterborough, UK Salary: £28-37 per hour Hourly

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity as a Social Worker in our 0-25 Disability Service - 0-18 Children with Disability Team in Peterborough? This locum position offers a hybrid working model, requiring you to be in the office at least 2 days a week, with full-time availability over a 3-month period. Earning between £28-37 per hour depending on your experience, you will be making a real difference in the lives of children and families, while enjoying a dynamic and flexible work environment.

What you will do:

* Complete assessments from the referral stage, thoroughly evaluating the needs of children and families within the Children with Disabilities Team.

* Work collaboratively with children and families, addressing their needs whether they involve Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Children Looked After (CLA), Pre-Proceedings (PLO) and Care Proceedings, or Private Proceedings.

* Engage in complex cases involving Deprivation of Liberty within National DOL Court and the Court of Protection.

* Coordinate and attend team meetings in person, actively contributing to group planning and decision-making.

* Ensure high-quality reporting and documentation are completed accurately and promptly.
